Project Documentation

Project Documentation is here to make your life easier. Its a machanism to create a documentation based on your UNIVERSE Project.

Show Project Documentation

You can access the Documentation for the Project that is currently loaded by ressing the little book icon next to the Project Title on the top-left of the UNIVERSE window or by selecting "Project Documentation" in the Help menu.

To export you can use the "Print" icon in the bottom-left corner to print the documentation to a PDF of physically if needed. You can also search the Documentation by pressing Crtl + F.

Add information

Throughout the building process of your Project you can add pieces of information to Stages, Controls, Devices, Timelines and Modifiers through the Description field in the Properties. This can be a quick annotation of what this element is supposed to do and why it is there or a longer text adding more information. There also is a Description field in the Project Properties in the Project menu that allows you to add additional information regarding the project like the point of contact for this project on the client side or where different hardware setups are placed throughout the location. The Content of this field along with other information an the configuration and structure of your project will then be added to the Documentation.
