Decklink

The Decklink Control displays a live video signal captured from a Blackmagic Design DeckLink capture card directly on the Stage. It requires a compatible DeckLink card installed in the UNIVERSE Engine machine.

Setup

Add the Decklink Control to the Stage and select the capture source in the Properties panel. The Control begins displaying the incoming video signal as soon as the UNIVERSE Engine is running and the card is active.

Playback Quality

Controls the rendering quality of the video feed.

Mode	Description
Full	Renders the feed at full capture resolution.
Preview	Renders a lower-resolution preview to reduce system load.

Nice to know

For performance reasons the Decklink Control renders its video exclusively in the desktop interface. When Show Mode is active the feed is visible on the Stage; in Edit Mode the Control displays a placeholder. Use the Maximize option in the Control properties to let the feed fill the screen in Show Mode.
