Stage

Stages are home to all the Controls, Device Nodes and Modifiers you need in your project. You can look at them as individual pages of your control interface. All elements on a Stage can be added and moved by drag and drop.

Properties

Common

Name Details
Snapping Tool Enables element snapping on the selected Stage to align items with each other.
Grid Lines Enter the number of rows and columns you want to divide your Stage in.
Snap to Grid Choose if the items on your Stage snap to the Grid Lines

Appearance

Name Details
Visual Feedback Determines if the status indicator below control is visible
Stage Name Set the name of the selected Stage
Mark Buttons Display a label below the button that show additional information.
- Last activated: Marks the last button that was executed
- Count: Displays the number of executions for buttons on the selected Stage
Display Name Displays the name of the Stage in the bottom left corner.
Show Stage Border Shows the safety zone for areas that are hidden by the UNIVERSE window top and bottom area in Standard Show Mode.

Layout

Name Details
Background Image Choose a background image for the selected Stage.
Background Video Choose a background video for the selected Stage.
Background Stretch Choose if the background media is stretched to fill the whole Stage.
Background Color Choose a background color for the selected Stage.
Templates Select the Templates that are applied to the Stage.

Size

Name Details
Width Set the width of the Stage in px. This ideally corresponds to the resolution of the target screen.
Note: Use the viewport resolution for high-res iOS devices.
Height Set the height of the Stage in px.
PosX Set the horizontal position of the Stage relative to the position of the left-most Stage.
PosY Set the vertical position of the Stage relative to the position of the top-most Stage.

Show Mode

Name Details
Maximize Maximizes the Stage to fill the screen.
Rescale Rescales the stage to fit the screen if it latger than the screen.
Always on top Displays the Stage on top of other application windows.
Screen Position X Determines the horizontal position of the Stage on the screen it is displayed on.
Screen Position Y Determines the vertical position of the Stage on the screen it is displayed on.
No Background This removes the Stage background and shows what lies behind the Stage window. This feature is only available when using Kiosk Show Mode

Multi Stage

These properties are only available if your project has more than one Stage.

Name Details
Status - Primary: Every project as one primary stage that will be displayed when going to show mode.
- Secondary: A secondary Stage can be accessed by navigating to it or assigning the Stage to a Target Screen.
- Hidden: This Stage will not be shown and cannot be accessed with navigation.
Order ID This index determines the position of the Stage in the Stage Order List and has an effect on the order of the Stages when using "Next/Previous Stage" Commands.
Target Screen Specifiy the id of the screen that this Stage should be displayed on.
- ID: 0: Stage will not be displayed when switching to ShowMode but can be accessed through navigation.
Note: Press the ? icon to display the ids on the screens.

Web Interface

Name Details
State Enable or disable the Web Interface for the selected Stage.
URL Shows the URL for the Web Interface of this Stage. Clicking the URL opens the Web Interface
Scaling Determines the scaling behaviour of the Stage in the web browser.
QR Code Generate a QR Code for the URL of this Stage.
